Your first visit
Come in, take off your shoes, ask anything
Most people are a little unsure the first time. This is what the visit looks like, in order.
The mat room is small and quiet, with one mat and a window seat. We keep the lights low and the door closed, and nobody else is in the room with you.

Your first visit, in order
- 01
Step 1: Book your visit
Choose a length, and who you would like to see. A short intake on the booking page comes before the session, which is where health questions belong.
- 02
Step 2: What to bring
Nothing but yourself. Soft, loose clothes you can bend in; we have blankets.
Water, if you like
A change of clothes, if you would rather not travel in them
- 03
Step 3: When you arrive
Come ten minutes early. Shoes off at the door, and we show you to the mat room and leave you to settle.
- 04
Step 4: What to expect
A word about pressure and areas to leave alone, then the session. Each stretch is shown first. At the end there is a quiet minute under a blanket and a glass of water.
Good to know
Clothing, pressure, stopping and your doctor
Clothing
You stay in your own loose clothes the whole time. Nothing is removed.
Pressure
We ask before we start and again partway. Lighter or firmer is always your call.
Stopping
You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, for any reason.
Your doctor
If you are pregnant, or have had recent surgery or an injury, ask your doctor or midwife before you book.

Forty-five or sixty minutes is a good place to start.
