Policies

What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over clothing and pressure again at every visit.

Undressing and draping

You stay in your own loose clothes for the whole session. Nothing is removed and nothing is uncovered. If you would like a blanket over your legs or shoulders, say so and we will give you one.

Pressure, consent and stopping

Before we start we ask how firm you like it and what to leave alone, and we ask again before each new stretch. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer, or to skip a stretch. You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like. We stop right away.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant, have had recent surgery or an injury, or are under a doctor's care for something that affects how you move, ask your doctor or midwife before you book, and tell your therapist when you arrive. We do not diagnose.

Before your visit

Come ten minutes early, shoes off at the door. Wear loose, soft clothes you can bend in. A light meal an hour or two before is more comfortable than a full stomach.

Booking and deposits

Book online or by phone. A card number holds every booking. The 120-minute session also takes a deposit, which goes toward your session, and you see the amount before you confirm.

Canceling and running late

Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a session. If you are ill, tell us and we will move it. A late arrival shortens the session so the next guest still starts on time.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a session without telling us, the held time is charged as shown when you booked, and any deposit is kept.

Children and companions

Sessions are for adults. A friend or family member is welcome to wait on the bench by the front door; we ask that children do not come into the mat room.

If you're not happy

If a session was not right for you, tell us within a few days and we will make it right.

Tipping

Tipping is welcome and never expected. You can add it when you pay, in cash or by card.
